My Journey
Four years ago, I started painting shoes as a creative hobby, inspired by a fun project customizing my daughter’s shoes with glitter. This passion grew into KixByKay, my first brand, where I began exploring the world of custom wearable art.
Recently, I’ve rebranded to Ruccia Designs to better reflect my evolving vision and expanded offerings. While the name is new, the dedication remains the same—creating custom, hand-painted designs that let my clients express themselves in bold, unique ways.
Over the years, I’ve focused on perfecting my craft, experimenting with new techniques, and studying business management and project management to bring professionalism and structure to my business. Every day, I’m learning something new, from innovative design skills to exciting items I can customize, and I’m always looking for fresh ways to push the boundaries of wearable art.
